This December has been hot as Hades. Water temps have risen over 20 Degrees, with the odd occasional thunderstorm which has not really had a great impact on our water levels. Lochwood and Plover dams have been producing and a 61cm Rainbow coming out of Stagstones.

Reports of scalies out of Cascades have come in, with the guys having a good day out just before the new year.
Mooi and Bushman rivers are still fairly low and not many anglers have ventured out to test the waters this past Xmas season.
This does not mean that one can’t wet a fly if the proverbial itch grabs you. Bass are great target especially on surface if you are looking some fun and bluegill are also great sport if you have access to a dam with a decent population.

Fishing reports and pictures of our waters would greatly be appreciated.
We still have some really great specials in store, so pop in before the end of January to take advantage.
