This nutrient rich water has a tea colour appearance that is quite deceiving. It supports a significant amount of weed and with it the invertebrates and subsequent big Trout. It’s best fished from a float tube and using strong tippet to handle the fish that know the structure all too well. The concrete spillway bay and opposite bay next to the pine trees are favourite haunts. Largest specimen recorded to date is 62cm.
